We built PassPath because the existing visa-advice industry serving East Africa is broken. Most “visa agents” charge hundreds of dollars for information that is freely available — and many give bad advice that causes refusals.

Who this is for

Kenyans, Rwandans, Ugandans, Tanzanians and Ethiopians applying for tourist, student, work, or family visas to the USA, Canada, UK, or Schengen Europe. It works for first-time applicants and for people who have been refused and want to try again with a stronger profile.

What we promise

• Honest scoring. The Readiness Score will tell you the truth — even if it's that you need 6 more months. We'd rather you wait than waste your visa fee.
• No referral fees. We do not take commissions from agencies. Listings on our employer directory are vetted, not paid.
• Free forever. All guide content, the readiness score, embassy locator, and scam protection are free for everyone. Lifetime access ($20 once) unlocks unlimited simulator + persistence.
• Privacy first. We never sell your data. We don't run trackers. We never see your bank statements or passport.

Where we get our data

Every interview question, document requirement, embassy address, and rejection reason in this app comes from a combination of official embassy sources, published immigration statistics, and stories from real East African applicants. We update content quarterly. Where we are not certain, we say so.
